Boost ya Biashara is a credit facility available on the M-PESA Business Till that allows business owners to complete transactions when they have insufficient funds in their M-PESA Business Tills.
To check your Boost ya Biashara loan limit, follow these simple steps:
1. Dial *234# from your nominated M-PESA Business number.
2. Select "M-PESA Business Till".
3. Select "Business Loans".
4. Select "Boost ya Biashara".
5. Your Boost ya Biashara limit will be displayed.
The Boost ya Biashara limit is assigned based on factors like your past transaction history and frequency of use of other Safaricom and M-PESA services.
Your limit can be accessed when making transactions like paying to another Buy Goods and Services Till Number, paying to a mobile number/customer, paying to a utility, withdrawing to your nominated number, or withdrawing to an M-PESA agent.
Remember, you can use Boost ya Biashara as many times as needed as long as you stay within your allocated limit. The facility is payable within 30 days, and business owners are encouraged to clear it as soon as possible. Defaulting on repayment can lead to your limit being reduced or you being listed on a Credit Reference Bureau.
